When Washington Park was abandoned, the ABCs had to move up to Northwestern Park. The ABCs didn't want to bulk of the gate going to the white owner of Bush Stadium and, afterall, in the 1920s, the general population didn't want a Negro League team playing in a facility as nice as the white team.
