Project Ballpark
A diamond is forever, and a baseball diamond can last forever in the memories of fans. Just think about that first time you set foot in a baseball park. The feeling is amazing when you head for your seats and you see the field, green, green grass and the lights, making the entire scene almost like a dream come true.
Baseball is truly America's pastime. With movie, concert, and amusment park tickets sky rocketing, there isn't a better way to spend time with your family, friend, or lover. Especially with most tickets to ball games around eight bucks.
Something amazing about ballparks is that they are each so unique. Every park has a couple of little quirks that stand out from the rest. Plus unlike any other sport, a diamond's outfield can be any shape, making each park something special.
One of my hobbies is to see baseball games, especially Red Sox games, in other cities to check out the di ball parks. With so many amazing new parks being built and some classic fields still around, this is a great time.
This site is intended to serve two purposes. First of all, to showcase my exploration of ball parks in North America, both in pictures and words. This site is also meant to be used as a resource to learn about other local ball parks, major league, minor league, independant leagues, and a couple of special ones.
I hope you enjoy this site. If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail me.
