The gentleman who restarted the Stars franchies in 1938 hailed from Mounds, IL. He played a few dates in Indianapolis (June 19 and July 24), but the majority of the league games that year took place in Mounds. This team was hailed as being from "Indianapolis" to get more attention in the national media.
