Baltimore, MD
Team: Baltimore Black Sox, Baltimore Sox, Baltimore Elite Giants | AKA: Moore's Field |
Memorable Moments:
This park was named after the Bugle Coat and Apron Supply Company, Maryland's largest laundry company. The Bugle Co. was owned by the Washington Senators Cuban scout, Joe Cambria, who also owned the Black Sox. Roy Campanella played here on weekends for the Elite Giants, learning his trade from the great defensive catcher Biz Mackey.
