Located in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Comples, this is Disney meets spring training. This park was built in 1997 as the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves and the Gulf Coast League Braves. It is designed in the Spanish Mission style which is popular in the area. This park has two outfield party areas, a large berm, and four luxury suites. In 2000, thanks to poor attendance, the Orland Rays moved from Tinker Field to here. This wasn't much of an improvement, and the team moved to Montgomery to become the Biscuits in 2003. In 2006, part of the World Baseball Classic was held here. In 2007 and 2008, as part of an effort to enlarge their fan base to Central Florida, the Tampa Bay Rays played a couple of series here.
